i had no idea how to begin writing this ... but as i startd jotting down .. it seemed to pour in >>>

Enuff time for practise(4 months) but we nevr learnd anthn frm thm actuallyyy..
Even th cd was compiled on th day(music to which we were supposed to dance)
which means we nevr practised with th song ...live music n dance was our item ..woh tho door ki baat hai>>

lot of mess n we began our journey by intercity .. mess-- i 4got ..

I mean, how can i 4gt tht ... th song was mixd n we had to take it on a cd which meant we needed a pc.. hostels pc cudnt b used (ya thngs nevr work wen u badly want thm) coz th dvd drive itself was damagd
so 2nd option .. it shud hav been th 1st option but u knw th oblivions curse !!
Vishnu .. ma classmate haas a lap which he brings evry day ... bt thn nero wasnt available... him being a linux enthusiast even tried usin unix crapp to burn an audio cd ,,terribly failing - owing to th user friendliness...
n sooo th only othr option was mediaplayer .. guess wat !! even thaat was a tough job ..tuk some 30 mins to write abt 100 mb !! wow cool!! aint that fast enuf for 1 gb ram with core2duo.

so we hauled in ...rite wen th train was to leave. Reached ekm aftr 5-6 hrs of a nice journey..Th star war bus came to th station to pick us up. We stopped in front of a 'panthal' setup .. with blue tarpaulins n a gr8 stage!! evry1 were like " whaat th f#@$!:"" were we to practise in junkyard?? wen we dreamd off air conditioned studio setup. thankfully tht was our mess n we were thn taken to th actual stage . Merzmerised we were lukin at th techno stuff around and th lightin n evrythn i shud say . so was it airconditioned with 2 massive propeller like Ac's to compensate th 24k watt lighting .

thn 4 sUmos .. i mean sumo cars tuk us to th staRLodge ..which was a house in a colony .. Lukd dumb for we had not gone for sme cultural meet ..it was supposed to b 'star wars' hosted by kairali.. 50 ppl staying in a 3 bed room house with 2 bathrooms without paani (Mind it!! ). . all we had for drinking was a small kooja of water n tht finished off in seccs...

our company at th bhargavinilayam were mostly drunkards on a high !! one among them acted stage co-ordinator making us fools n (yeaahh we believed he was som technician --he lukd old n stpd enuf for a spotboy atleast) He dictated to us ol stuff we shud b doin n we shudnt b wen we were on stage!! aftr oll that we listened to, we seemed to understand -it was well planned. Enuff off practise for th day n ol of us dozzed off to begin th "star life" .
Slept at abt 1 a.m n i GOT UP at 4 a.m .(there is prrooof to this .. i've sent ppl msgs ... trust me !!)

Morning . . we practised a litl on th terrace n had to stop as there wasnt even a sign of an oasis around! by abt 6.30 evry1 got ready ,,takin a bath on th terrace with watevr water was left in th tank . WE set off for th studio !!

i did nt want ny break fast ...ol i wantd was to finish off our event ASAP n with no errs ..
1st the song was recorded... i mean our song "paal pole" for th live music with dance .
to speak of th technical stuff... 2nds was out--they said (for the song) !! dnt knw wat that meant--just felt like writin it .. ;)

We finished off our dance with maxm perfection we had evr achieved .. to speak th truth we had nevr practised th whole song ie w/o takin breaks n doin th complete steps.. nevr thot we cud do it on stage ,but with gods grace or th prayers of evry wellwisher.. we did IT >>

aftr this was our chance to break th chord. 3 competing collegs stood against us alone .. n guess wat they nevr stood a chance ,once we decided to rock th dice !! they sang n cheered to the tunes of folk music.. while we cheered for GEC n chellappan n oll... (th truth being ..none off us knew folkish songs n v cud nevr create such ambience with those kind of songs ) they were like jealous n thot we were ol mere show off pppl ,whu wudnt think so .... 5 digis ,, nice phones... cool clothes... rbk, nike, addidas shoes to shake feet on th stage .. They nevr cud guess they were ol borrowed n rented ..hehheee!! ;)

Aftr evry thng was shot it was time to announce th results .. which meant we were to stay on stage for an hour listenin to -ves n +ve feedbacks of each event, i stood right under some scorching spot light>> more than the tension they tried to create ,the heat was getting me restless..

We won against our first opponent ... n that was more than reason for us to b proud of ourselves .. nevr even thot we'd be 3rd..
second collg n ours ,,we had some 11 point lead .. n nw we were like ... wat iff we win >> n wat iff we dont...
ol our fingers were kept crossed n we wre hoping there wudnt b an elimination round (for bonus points) coz thn we'd lose advantage against Amal.. whu sang not much diffrnt form yesudas -- seriously >> he was thaattt GOOD ... (aftr the pgm girls were like " amal ,, pls dnt leave.. finish off th sng naaa ")
n aftr a long pause Sriram sir announced .. GEC ..... winss .. ohh .. godd gracious ..ol off us were on cloud nine .. (iff theres a cloud 10 .. on that i shud say ) we were that happy,, soo happy ,, cant say howw happy... We are slected into the quarters which meant we wudd come bakk... to meet more celebs n sugarifyy .... n more off mouthlukin !! >> we await for th schedule n this time we are gonna go with th aim n dreams off winning>>
